The opportunity to explore the exciting world of multimedia and web development with a paid internship at a German company, using German language and computer skills, is possible through The Met's program of Cooperative Education. Students work under supervision for six to eight weeks at a preapproved German corporation for up to six credits.

• Prerequisites: 3000 level German and a willingness to expand computer skills. Interested students are selected for a limited number of internships.

• General Description: Cooperative education provides an introduction to the world of a German corporation, where students apply language and computer skills and learn through exciting work.

• Objectives: Students further develop communicative skills and software knowledge.

• Student Evaluation: Students are monitored by the work supervisor at the company and by a faculty supervisor at The Met. Students complete detailed journals and descriptions of their contribution to company projects.
