Officers'
Duties
Chair:
o Term: two-year
o Duties: Solicit, organize and select presentations for the
annual convention, assist the SIG in articulating and disseminating
its concerns with ACTFL, to chair the SIGs annual business meeting
and to act as the liaison between the SIG and ACTFL
headquarters.
Vice-Chair:
o Term: two-year
o Duties: Assist the Chair, as appropriate.
Secretary-Treasurer:
o Term: two-year
o Duties: Prepare the minutes of the SIG Annual Business
meeting, receive the session proposals and manage the proposal review
process for the SIG.
Past-Chair:
o Term: two-year
o Duties: Solicit SIG members and/or personally create
written articles and other information for publication in member
news, and chair the nominating committee for future SIG elections.
Webmaster:
o Term: appointed at Officers' discretion
o Duties: Assist the Officers with materials for the WWW, as
appropriate.
